Itinerary :-
Day 01 : Arrival in Kochi + Sightseeing
Rover Holidays representative will greet and transfer you at Kochi Airport / Ernakulam Railway Station. Then he transfers you to your pre-booked hotel. Freshen up and relax. Later proceed for some sightseeing in Kochi, formerly known as Cochin. Also termed as Queen of Arabian Sea, Kochi is a one of the most important tourist places in Kerala, God’s Own Country. You will see interesting tourist attractions like Mattancherry Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Jews Street, St Francis Church, Chinese Fishing Nets, etc. Dinner & overnight will be at the hotel.

Day: 02 : Cochin – Munnar
After hearty breakfast at the hotel, drive to Munnar – the picturesque hill town in Kerala. Munnar is fondly referred as the Kashmir of South because of its exceptional nature beauty and healthy climate. On the way to Munnar you will pass through scenic surroundings and see fantastic nature beauty. On arrival at Munnar, you will be transferred to the hotel pre-booked. Dinner & overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 03: Munnar Sightseeing
Take breakfast. Enjoy sightseeing tour in Munnar – the Kashmir of South. You will visit major tourist places like Mattupetty Lake & Dam, Echo Point, Rajamalai, Kundale Lake, Eravikulam National Park, etc. In time return back to hotel for dinner & overnight stay.

Day 04: Munnar – Thekkady (Periyar Tiger Reserve)
Take your breakfast and then drive to Thekkady famous with Periyar National Park & Tiger Reserve. On arrival check-in at your hotel. Later go for spice plantation tour. Then enjoy boat cruise on Periyar Lake passing thought the famous Periyar National Park. Enjoy bird watching and wildlife viewing inside the park. Periyar is very famous for Indian elephants. Do not forget to take snaps of herds of elephants. Dinner & overnight will be at the hotel.

Day 05 : Periyar – Kumarakom
After hearty breakfast, drive to Kumarakom (145 Kms / 4 Hrs). On arrival visit to Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary which is home to water bird as well as migratory birds. In the evening enjoy the Sunset Cruise on Vembanad Lake or enjoy the beauty of the backwater and the magnetic natural beauty just sitting on the picturesque Vembanad Lake. Dinner and overnight say willbe at the hotel. 

Day 06: Backwater Expedition & Houseboat Cruise
Have a relaxed breakfast at the hotel. In the afternoon embark on houseboat cruise to explore breathtakingly beautiful backwaters of Kerala. Sit back and enjoy scenic beauty as the houseboat moves slowly over the glittering water festooned by the white lilies with the only companion of duck and sometime fishes come out to say hello and hi to you. Lunch, Evening Tea/Coffee with snacks, dinner and overnight stay will be on the houseboat. Dinner & overnight will be at the hotel.

Day 07 : Houseboat – Kovalam
Take your breakfast onboard the houseboat. Disembark the houseboat at Alleppey Finishing Point Jetty. Drive to Kovalam – one of the finest beach resorts in the world. On arrival check into the pre-booked hotel, freshen up and enjoy welcome drinks. Later enjoy rest of the day at leisure on the beach at Kovalam. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel. 
  
Day 08 : Kovalam – Trivandrum - Kovalam
After breakfast take a day trip covering sightseeing of Trivandrum. Trivandrum, the capital city of Kerala. Here visit to The Napier Museum, Kuthiramalika Museum, Sri Padmanabha Temple, etc. In the afternoon relax at on the Kovalam beach enjoying the spectacular views or beach activities. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Hotel.

Day 09: Kovalam - Departure
Take your breakfast at the hotel. In time Rover Holidays representative will transfer you to Trivandrum Airport or Railway Station to board flight / train to onward / home destination.

Costs of Children (between 5 and 12 yrs) :-

• With Extra bed 25 % of couple cost
• Without Extra bed 20 % of couple cost

The above cost includes:-

• Transportation using A/C Car (Indica) as per the itinerary below, inclusive of fuel, parking Toll Driver allowance.
• Accommodation at all places on Twin Sharing basis.

• Any transportation which is not mentioned in the itinerary
• Lunch/Dinner at hotels ,Room service , Telephone calls laundry Any portage at airports and hotels, tips, insurance, wine, mineral water, telephone charges, guide charges, boating charges, entrance fees and all items of personal nature.
• Any services not specifically mentioned in the inclusions.

Details of Cancellation Charges :-
If booking Cancelled before

• 15 days – 5 % of the tour cost
• 7 days - 10 % of the tour cost
• 2 days - 25 % of the tour cost
• Less than 2 days – 100 % of the tour cost

Note :-

• A hike of 25% would be applicable from 15 Dec to 15 Jan 2010
• A hike of 10% would be applicable from 01 Feb 2011 to28 Feb 2011 (only for premium category)
• X’mas and New Year Eve Supplement charges would be charged additional on actual.
